Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Deportivo Martes's Vinicio Refugio got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Gorri in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro George saved Deportivo Martes from getting behind. After having played for 11 minutes, Adolfo Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luque AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Sotil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro George was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Baldomero Gorri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldomero Gorri really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Baldomero Gorri hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Baldomero Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Martes's goalkeeper Alejandro George had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Sotil. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Abastas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Monte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Luque AFC's zone, Cleto Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Monte came out of the goal and Cleto Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Baldomero Gorri made the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Goyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Pastor Monte made a huge save. Cleto Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Pastor Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Cleto Abastas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pastor Monte. Luque AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Abastas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Luque AFC's goalkeeper Pastor Monte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Abastas. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 62nd minute, but Pastor Monte got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Luque AFC hanging dry this time. Adolfo Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro George having to interfere. Deportivo Martes's Cleto Abastas got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Cleto Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Gorri in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Martes's zone, Baldomero Gorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro George came out of the goal and Baldomero Gorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Vinicio Refugio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Martes and the Luque AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Deportivo Martes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Refugio to maneuver through the defense. If Cleto Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Luque AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Martes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
