After a defensive mix-up in Las Estrellas Rojas's zone, Isidoro Rosio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Tano came out of the goal and Isidoro Rosio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Fabian Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Jimeno Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jimeno Elequemedo in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gerardo Satordi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 64 minutes into the match, Las Estrellas Rojas's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Telesforo came free, but Ambrosio Tano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Isidoro Rosio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ambrosio Tano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Las Estrellas Rojas's Jimeno Elequemedo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Donato Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Tano having to interfere. Gerardo Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Edur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
