A wasted opportunity for Yeclano FC. 9 minutes into the match, Yeclano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Manni came free, but Maximino Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Nihuil FC got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Vasco. Dante Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Santikurtz in the 13th minute of the match. Fermin Gaztea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Nesto having to interfere. After some careless play in the Yeclano FC defense, Fermin Gaztea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Nesto. The Yeclano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Nesto should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Genaro Bitxintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Genaro Bitxintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeclano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Bitxintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Xabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Xabel came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Yeclano FC's Genaro Bitxintxo. But to his dismay, Genaro Bitxintxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Alberto Marcones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeclano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nihuil FC the free kick. A collision led to Yeclano FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alberto Marcones hit a great ball. After 48 minutes of play, Nihuil FC's Sixto Manni made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Nesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Nihuil FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arturo Santikurtz made the kick off in the second half. Maximino Nesto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Gaztea in the 55th minute. When Arturo Santikurtz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yeclano FC's protests and gave Arturo Santikurtz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yeclano FC's Arturo Santikurtz got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Aurelio Quilino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Nesto skillfully saved the ball. Yeclano FC's Genaro Bitxintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Genaro Bitxintxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Nihuil FC's Dante Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Santikurtz in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nihuil FC defense, Genaro Bitxintxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Xabel. The Nihuil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Xabel should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Arturo Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Ado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Nesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Sixto Manni had several of the Yeclano FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Maximino Nesto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dante Xabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute, Genaro Bitxintxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yeclano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
