Bernabe Casado charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Casado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Eufemio succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Umea during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benedicto Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Genaro Bitxintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Arnas having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Froilan Oihenarte notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lakers's Augusto Arnas. Augusto Arnas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute, Alberto Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Alberto Marcones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeclano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lakers the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Rigoberto Abarca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximino Nesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Augusto Arnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Lakers's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Santikurtz came free, but Augusto Arnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Santikurtz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Lakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Dodorol to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Casado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Arnas. Lakers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Augusto Arnas was a little too slow when Arturo Santikurtz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-2. After having played for 64 minutes, Rigoberto Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lakers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yeclano FC's Maximino Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Eufemio in the 66th minute of play. Lakers's Raimundo Eufemio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Bitxintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Arnas made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Genaro Bitxintxo sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Nesto having to interfere. Maximino Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 92 played minutes Lakers got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Dominguez. 95 minutes into the match, Lakers's goalkeeper Augusto Arnas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Bitxintxo. The Lakers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yeclano FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Yeclano FC.
