Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) MAYER's Isidoro Rosio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Langoni FC's Generoso Burni got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Isidoro Rosio made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Cresitobalo. Langoni FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Donato Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of MAYER booed when Langoni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Neto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conrado Cresitobalo. Langoni FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donato Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Cresitobalo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MAYER's Zeledon Luken got a free kick in the 17th minute. Baldomiro Hulberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerardo Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Hulberto ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ezequiel Ovando came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Langoni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Ovando couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in MAYER's zone, Baldomiro Hulberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Satordi came out of the goal and Baldomiro Hulberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Baldomiro Hulberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Langoni FC's Baldomiro Hulberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Langoni FC's Conrado Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Telesforo in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Langoni FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Hulberto. Ivan Tabby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Satordi having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Hulberto was the one to do the kick off. Baldomiro Hulberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Langoni FC's Conrado Cresitobalo got control of the ball when Donato Telesforo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 played minutes Langoni FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Burni. Isidoro Rosio might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Cresitobalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Rosio ran back to his position shaking his head. Braulio Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Conrado Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Rosio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Conrado Cresitobalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAYER. Langoni FC's Baldomiro Hulberto got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
