If Esteve Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Agitaf got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Elizardo. 9 minutes in the game, Ladislao Licerio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ariel Rius having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Licerio in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Rius saved Agitaf from getting behind. In the 14th minute Ladislao Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Rius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Licerio's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Esteve Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Mercedes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Jurdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Ladislao Licerio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Club Mercedes's zone, Jaime Eneko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Claude came out of the goal and Jaime Eneko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislao Licerios short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Ariel Rius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delmiro Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Agitaf getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Christian Claris hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Licerio in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Rius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Olentzaro got free with Wilfredo Claude in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Eneko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Claude having to interfere. If Ladislao Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Licerio in the 78th minute of play. Wilfredo Claude came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Agitaf's Raimundo Olentzaro. But to his dismay, Raimundo Olentzaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Ladislao Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ariel Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Rius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agitaf's goalkeeper Ariel Rius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 minutes, Bruno Shantala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Mercedes and the Agitaf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bruno Shantala kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ladislao Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute.
