The referee showed Bartolo Xabel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute Angelino Tino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Javier Oroitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yoscaba and the Rotwein FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Javier Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Amado Sotil came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Rotwein FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Sotil couldn't finish the play. Hector Enmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Delmiro Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Chesus in the 27th minute of play. Amancio Marz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Hector Enmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Rameriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Hector Enmanuel managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Rotwein FC's Amado Sotil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Angelino Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Yoscaba's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Sotil came free, but Hector Enmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Sotil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Enmanuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Isidro Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Sotil to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Isidro Esquipula sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Enmanuel skillfully saved the ball. Amado Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fabian Atarrabi fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rotwein FC's protests and gave Fabian Atarrabi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rotwein FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fabian Atarrabi hit a great ball. Hector Enmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Sotil in the 70th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Tadeo Cordarell in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rotwein FC's Bartolo Xabel. The audience was convinced that Amado Sotil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Enmanuel was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Sotil in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Enmanuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ruben Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hector Enmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Esteban Ezkerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yoscaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rotwein FC the free kick. Amado Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
