After a defensive mix-up in Club Mercedes's zone, Ermegildo Fliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Claude came out of the goal and Ermegildo Fliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Honorio Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedicto Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Honorio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Delmiro Mingo scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Frutos, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ladislao Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Mercedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Licerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Licerio in the 31st minute of the match. Club Mercedes's Esteve Jurdan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Ladislao Licerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Mercedes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Honorio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Honorio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Mercedes's Teofilo Bero got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Honorio Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honorio Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Claude having to interfere. If Honorio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Mercedes's Claudio Sesuldo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Jurdan in the 74th minute of play forced ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★'s goalkeeper Benedicto Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Ladislao Licerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Frutos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Ladislao Licerio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Club Mercedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Licerio couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Honorio Neto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 83rd minute, Claudio Sesuldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Esteve Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ladislao Licerio made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Frutos. ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Alfonso Donio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Donio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfonso Donio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Claude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Neto in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★'s Ermegildo Fliz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilfredo Claude. Wilfredo Claude yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1.
