Wilde's Delmiro Umea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Wilde from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Fausto Javiero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmiro Umea. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. The supporters of Wilde booed when MANDIYU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Sanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Delmiro Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
