Delmiro Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Club Mercedes's Wilfredo Claude proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Club Mercedes from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Club Mercedes's Claudio Sesuldo got a free kick in the 18th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Club Mercedes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wilde:s goal. Wilfredo Claude went to the wrong direction when Anibal Refugio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Isaac Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Beturian struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Wilfredo Claude didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wilde. Wilfredo Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Wilfredo Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Beturian in the 40th minute of play. If Ladislao Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The wind increased when Isaac Beturian made the kick off in the second half. Isaac Beturian scored 2-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilfredo Claude, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th match minute, Club Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ladislao Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Mercedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Licerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Umea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Refugio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Wilfredo Claude didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wilde. Wilfredo Claude stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Beturian's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Anibal Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Refugio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Licerio in the 89th minute of the match. Anibal Refugio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilde's Delmiro Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Licerio in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Wilde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
