The audience cheered loudly when Remigio Hustaz's long shot in the 13th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Baldomero Txurio. 21 minutes into the match, Augusto Perutxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Txurio. When Casimiro Ireno fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brotherstramo's protests and gave Casimiro Ireno a yellow card for diving instead.
