Spectators: 6648 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Asaf Mürşit took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Conrado Gartzea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Beremundo. Isótopos de La Plata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Gartzea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Marco Castel came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Isótopos de La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Castel couldn't finish the play. The Instituto Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Instituto Juniors's Armando Otsando looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Instituto Juniors's Victorino Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asaf Mürşit in the 15th minute of play. Isótopos de La Plata's Filiberto Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asaf Mürşit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Victorino Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Isótopos de La Plata's zone, Conrado Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Beremundo came out of the goal and Conrado Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Isótopos de La Plata booed when Instituto Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Pitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Instituto Juniors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Isótopos de La Plata:s goal. Armando Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jorge Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Armando Otsando made the kick off in the second half. Armando Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Beremundo having to interfere. Armando Otsando took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Beremundo. Jorge Beremundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Asaf Mürşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Ferdinand having to interfere. Asaf Mürşit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Victorino Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Ferdinand having to interfere. Emanuel Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Ferdinand having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Isótopos de La Plata's Filiberto Luke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorino Ferdinand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Victorino Ferdinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asaf Mürşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
