In the 3rd match minute, La Banda del Vaitton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Piearres to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Fertus made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Rodolfo Leocadio sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Ted, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute Flavio Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Feliu came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Catalinas FC's Flavio Ted. But to his dismay, Flavio Ted quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Flavio Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Feliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Ted's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Flavio Ted recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Cresenciano struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tiburcio Feliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Catalinas FC. In the 29th minute, Angel Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Banda del Vaitton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Santa Catalinas FC's Flavio Ted in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Banda del Vaitton's goalie prevented a goal. If Emiliano Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Rodolfo Leocadio took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Filomeno Fertus to make any attempt to save it. Santa Catalinas FC's Luciano Toli got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Ted in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Feliu saved La Banda del Vaitton from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Ted stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Txanton in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Izel in the 53rd minute of play forced Santa Catalinas FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Argoitz's late challenge caught a La Banda del Vaitton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Argoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Gabriel Argoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Izel in the 55th minute of play forced Santa Catalinas FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Angel Izel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Fertus was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Tiburcio Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Ted in the 61st minute of the match. Santa Catalinas FC's Filomeno Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Izel in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, La Banda del Vaitton's Rodolfo Leocadio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Fertus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 68th minute, Angel Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Banda del Vaitton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Tiburcio Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Ted in the 74th minute of the match. If Flavio Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santa Catalinas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
