Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) Justo Vigil made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Arroyito booed when Cortita y al Pié FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Roberto Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Ospin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Roberto Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Charro having to interfere. If Roberto Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Libertad during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnulfo Libertad hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Julian Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Edgard Senio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Gaston Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Julian Dimas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Senio skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Cortita y al Pié FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Ospin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Charro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Oier in the 54th minute of play. Roberto Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 67th minute of the match Arnulfo Libertad completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arnulfo Libertad a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Edgard Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Dunixi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arroyito's Roberto Ospin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Eriberto Charro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Ospin in the 77th minute of play. Justo Vigil was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mateo Oier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Cortita y al Pié FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Arroyito side.
