When Jorge Federigo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Deportivo Pulqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Federigo couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Pulqui's Emilio Fe suffered a sore thigh after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Albino Pereyra's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pulqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Pereyra helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 14 minutes, Teobaldo Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pulqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aquiles Soin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Edgard Belarmo made a huge save. Aquiles Soin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Edgard Belarmo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Isaac Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pulqui's Carolo Lapurdi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Mulitas's Edgard Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mulitas from getting a goal against them. Isaac Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Teobaldo Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Edgard Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mulitas's Edgard Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Mulitas from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Stephen to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Valentin Amato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Belarmo. Mulitas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Amato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 54th match minute, Mulitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mulitas! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Pulqui. Aquiles Soin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edgard Belarmo. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Olayo in the 61st minute of play forced Deportivo Pulqui's goalkeeper Isaac Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teobaldo Osorio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Edgard Belarmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pulqui. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mulitas's goalkeeper Edgard Belarmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deportivo Pulqui's Aquiles Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Osorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Belarmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Aquiles Soin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mulitas's Edgard Belarmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pulqui's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Pereyra came free, but Isaac Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Mulitas got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Hori. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Aquiles Soin put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edgard Belarmo. In the 82nd minute, Albino Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Teobaldo Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Osorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Belarmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Soin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Belarmo was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Pulqui players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
