Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 46) Romeo Nabar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Feliciano Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Cortez in the 8th minute of play. Gaston Tulio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Santos de Boedo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Gaston Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Tulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Cortez in the 22nd minute of play forced Turungun's goalkeeper Feliciano Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Cortez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Feliciano Tomi came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomero Cortez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Baldomero Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Boedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Romeo Nabar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Gorri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Tulio got free with Feliciano Tomi in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Baldomero Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Santos de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Cortez couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Romeo Nabar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turungun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos de Boedo the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Turungun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Nabar to maneuver through the defense. If Gaston Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gaston Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Tomi having to interfere. The corner led Santos de Boedo's German Cristos to fire away a dangerous shot which Feliciano Tomi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute, Gaston Tulio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliciano Tomi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Romeo Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lino Gorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos de Boedo's Abel Procopio got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
