With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Egoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celedonio Txerran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Hermelando in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Almagro getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Amadeo Hermelando hit a great ball. Dante Jaen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carmelo Egoitz. San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Clemente Salomone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo de Almagro's Carmelo Egoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
