Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robustiano Roano kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute of the match Severo Egun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmelo Egoitz skillfully saved the ball. Carmelo Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Egun hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. San Lorenzo de Almagro's Honorio Eder shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gonzalo Abaunza but with some difficulty. In the 25th minute, San Lorenzo de Almagro's Robustiano Roano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Gonzalo Abaunza made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Simon Dimo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to La Academia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Casimiro Corderun hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Roano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Abaunza was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Simon Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gonzalo Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Roano in the 35th minute of play. Robustiano Roano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. San Lorenzo de Almagro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to La Academia getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Higinio Arias hit a great ball. If Robustiano Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Robustiano Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Abaunza having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalkeeper Carmelo Egoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Arias. Mateo Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. La Academia 's Gonzalo Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Roano in the 69th minute of play. Higinio Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, La Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Artizar to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Egoitz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Higinio Arias sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Egoitz having to interfere. San Lorenzo de Almagro's Carmelo Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Joanes in the 90th minute of play. Higinio Arias scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carmelo Egoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
