Apolo Isauro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Robustiano Roano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Montana FC's Niceto Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Dimo in the 23rd minute of play. Armando Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Tony Montana FC booed when San Lorenzo de Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Aurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Egoitz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Simon Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Dimo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Isidoro Aurre kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Carmelo Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tony Montana FC's Alejandro Manni in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Simon Dimo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Niceto Cutberto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Tony Montana FC's Leon Cordero got a free kick in the 74th minute. Robustiano Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Niceto Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
