In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL GRANATE's goalkeeper Eriberto Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Siján's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Orti came free, but Lucio Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Blanco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Roldan. EL GRANATE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Paulino Orti sped through Siján's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucio Pelagius. EL GRANATE's Hugo Havier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gregorio Ler in the 35 minute of the game. Norberto Beliran scored 3-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucio Pelagius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucio Pelagius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Orti's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

In the 53rd minute Norberto Beliran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Orti scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucio Pelagius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 played minutes Gustavo Nesor rounded EL GRANATE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-1. Lucio Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Orti, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Hugo Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Pelagius having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EL GRANATE's Zacarias Bela got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Paulino Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Siján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Nesor to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Orti in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Pelagius saved Siján from getting behind. After 83 played minutes Siján got a freekick which was hit by Marco Cordaryal. EL GRANATE's Simon Jenaro was substituted for Paulino Orti. In the 84th match minute, Siján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Simon Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL GRANATE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Jenaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Aurelio Camerino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Siján fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 96th minute, Alfonso Federigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 99 minutes of play, EL GRANATE's Simon Jenaro made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Pelagius was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that EL GRANATE were the better team. EL GRANATE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
