After a rather tough play, STANLEY's Edgardo James got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Leo Viviano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes STANLEY got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo James. In a very dangerous position, a player in STANLEY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Americo Sol placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Vinalito FC's Donato Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, STANLEY's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Abadie came free, but Eugenio Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Perutxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Melchor Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Celedonio Maria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinalito FC and the STANLEY players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vinalito FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Celedonio Maria hit a great ball. Modesto Perutxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Melchor Haimar made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Modesto Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STANLEY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Modesto Perutxo made the kick off in the second half. Leo Viviano might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Weterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Viviano ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to STANLEY getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Aaron Romano hit a great ball. Donato Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, STANLEY's Eugenio Weterio got control of the ball when Leo Viviano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Weterio having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Donato Abadie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Weterio, 0-2. If Modesto Perutxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Haimar having to interfere. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for STANLEY. Ruperto Guipuzkoa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Melchor Haimar. 1-2. Eugenio Weterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Viviano in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Viviano got free with Eugenio Weterio in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Modesto Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. STANLEY's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Perutxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vinalito FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
