When Gregorio Lauaxeta came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the vacajrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Lauaxeta couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Everardo Fortun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alonzo Chan. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Gregorio Lauaxeta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saladillo AFC's Emanuel Padro. Emanuel Padro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 minutes, Emiliano Casomiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vacajrs and the Saladillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiliano Casomiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Saladillo AFC defense, Gregorio Lauaxeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Padro. The Saladillo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Padro should have stopped the shot. Gregorio Lauaxeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Saladillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Petri. vacajrs's Anastasio Tab couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saladillo AFC. Saladillo AFC's Emanuel Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Lauaxeta in the 37th minute of play. Everardo Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Chan having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, vacajrs's goalkeeper Alonzo Chan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Selmo. Valentin Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half vacajrs were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute Valentin Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saladillo AFC's Humberto Bingen got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Perrando came free, but Emanuel Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Rene Perrando fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emanuel Padro, passed just outside the right post. In the 64th match minute, Saladillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Selmo to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes of play, vacajrs's Rene Perrando made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Padro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Rene Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Ovidio Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Perrando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Padro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play.
