Siján's Aurelio Camerino got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Siján booed when Vinalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Inguma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siján's Lucio Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Viviano in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute Gustavo Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Melchor Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Nesor in the 19th minute of play forced Vinalito FC's goalkeeper Melchor Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Americo Sol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucio Pelagius skillfully saved the ball. Donato Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Pelagius having to interfere. Donato Abadie might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Pelagius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Abadie ran back to his position shaking his head. When Vinalito FC's Donato Abadie in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Siján's goalie prevented a goal. Leo Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lucio Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Nesor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Siján's goalkeeper Lucio Pelagius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Fagondo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Leo Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Siján got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Manny. After 63 played minutes Vinalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Sol. Lucio Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes, Americo Sol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinalito FC and the Siján players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Vinalito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Sol to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Manny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melchor Haimar. Vinalito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Siján's zone, Donato Abadie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Pelagius came out of the goal and Donato Abadie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Viviano struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Lucio Pelagius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinalito FC. Americo Sol was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Vinalito FC's Americo Sol got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Edgardo Blanco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melchor Haimar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Melchor Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Cordaryal, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Lucio Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Leo Viviano sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Siján fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vinalito FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
