After a defensive mix-up in Vinalito FC's zone, Paulino Orti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Haimar came out of the goal and Paulino Orti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Vistruario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Haimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Orti went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Paulino Orti sped through Vinalito FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melchor Haimar. In the 24th minute, Paulino Orti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Zacarias Bela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL GRANATE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Bela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Orti in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Haimar saved Vinalito FC from getting behind. Paulino Orti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Orti in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Paulino Orti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinalito FC's Melchor Haimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 minutes, Clemente Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL GRANATE and the Vinalito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Clemente Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in EL GRANATE's zone, Americo Sol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Roldan came out of the goal and Americo Sol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Orti made a kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Paulino Orti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinalito FC's Melchor Haimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemente Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Haimar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EL GRANATE's Hugo Havier got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Zacarias Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Viviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Bela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Melchor Haimar made a huge save. Paulino Orti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Abadie hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Paulino Orti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melchor Haimar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. EL GRANATE's Simon Jenaro was substituted for Paulino Orti. Eriberto Roldan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Viviano in the 91st minute of play. When Simon Jenaro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the EL GRANATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Jenaro couldn't finish the play. Ivan Jakue made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by EL GRANATE's Hugo Havier. In the 98thth minute of the game Simon Jenaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinalito FC's Melchor Haimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded EL GRANATE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vinalito FC.
