Bocho´s Return's Leonardo Ekain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Basualdo in the 3rd minute of play. Nicanor Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Fidel Iztal made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Higinio Shantala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bocho´s Return's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verdinegros San Juan the free kick. A collision led to Bocho´s Return getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Higinio Shantala hit a great ball. Nicanor Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Gomez got free with Fidel Iztal in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute of the match Modesto Corderun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Ekain skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st minute, Gerardo Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Oxel in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Iztal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Remigio Romildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Pudes thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Leonardo Ekain, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 0-1. 40 minutes into the game, Verdinegros San Juan's Simon Basualdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Ekain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Benigno Oxel made the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Manuelo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Leonardo Ekain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdinegros San Juan. Paulo Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Basualdo in the 57th minute of play forced Bocho´s Return's goalkeeper Leonardo Ekain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Nicanor Gomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Verdinegros San Juan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Farias to maneuver through the defense. If Nicanor Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Verdinegros San Juan's Simon Basualdo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Ekain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bocho´s Return's Nicanor Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Verdinegros San Juan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
