Maximiliano Erramu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Orlin. Valhöll FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lázaro Ariando struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Fidel Iztal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhöll FF. Emanuel Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Valhöll FF's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Basualdo came free, but Emanuel Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Valhöll FF's Ermegildo Venceslas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Iztal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Verdinegros San Juan's Cayetano Manuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Cayetano Manuelo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Orlin. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Ermegildo Venceslas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Iztal having to interfere. Fidel Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Venceslas's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Ermegildo Venceslas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Venceslas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Venceslas to make the kick off. In the last second Fidel Iztal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ermegildo Venceslas in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Artizar during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valhöll FF booed when Verdinegros San Juan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Artizar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
