The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Pedro Bladi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mariano Santana fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castellanos FC's protests and gave Mariano Santana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Mariano Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Deprotivo Tronquitos's Hermengildo Luken broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
