An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Etxeberri in the 16th minute of play forced Junior's goalkeeper Zacarias Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Lop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Rogelio Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot. joseph pla's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Cristofor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Lop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Goyo's late challenge caught a Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Goyo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Salvador Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Indartsu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sixto Indartsu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eloy Etxeberri struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Zacarias Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for joseph pla. Leonel Chabier hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Indartsu to make the kick off. Eloy Etxeberri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Zacarias Lop made a huge save. A collision led to Junior getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Leonel Chabier hit a great ball. Eloy Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Lop having to interfere. If Rogelio Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Nemesio Rico put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aureliano Artal. Aureliano Artal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Indartsu's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Junior's Bernardo Gelmiro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Zacarias Lop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Ongile shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Aureliano Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Gelmiro in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Nemesio Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Artal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Nemesio Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Artal. joseph pla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
