The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonides Eutor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Peli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes, Albino Peli made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Castellanos FC's Leonides Eutor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Lacai's Albino Peli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Eutor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Castellanos FC booed when Lacai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Matai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Erramu, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aurelio Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Eutor having to interfere. Leonides Eutor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Berdaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nicolas Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leonides Eutor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albino Peli came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Lacai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Peli couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Lacai's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Bladi came free, but Silverio Mendiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Aurelio Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albino Peli might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Eutor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Peli ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonides Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Berdaitz in the 49th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Albino Peli made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Aurelio Berdaitz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Castellanos FC's Leonides Eutor. Leonides Eutor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Nemesio Ioritz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castellanos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 1-3 became the score in the 66th minute when Albino Peli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Lacai's Albino Peli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonides Eutor. Leonides Eutor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. If Albino Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nicolas Urti came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lacai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Urti couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Lamberto during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Castellanos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. Lacai played a much better game than Castellanos FC and deserved their victory. The Castellanos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
