Manuel Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liga Aves de Bernal's Manuel Estevez got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute Manuel Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Anttila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Paul Anttila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Ranelagh's zone, Ezequiel Xabat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Anttila came out of the goal and Ezequiel Xabat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Anttila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Estevez came free, but Paul Anttila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Estevez struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Paul Anttila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liga Aves de Bernal. In the 33rd minute, Manuel Estevez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liga Aves de Bernal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36th minute Ezequiel Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Anttila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Club Atletico Ranelagh's Urbano Birjaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aquiles Ihintza. Aquiles Ihintza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Ezequiel Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Liga Aves de Bernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Xabat couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Xabat made a kick off. Manuel Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Paul Anttila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atletico Ranelagh's Urbano Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Urbano Birjaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Ranelagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liga Aves de Bernal the free kick. A collision led to Club Atletico Ranelagh getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Urbano Birjaio hit a great ball. Paul Anttila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Liga Aves de Bernal's Aquiles Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Birjaio in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Urbano Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Ranelagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Ihintza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Epifanio Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Ranelagh's Urbano Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Epifanio Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aquiles Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Birjaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Laurentzi took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Ihintza. Aquiles Ihintza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Urbano Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Epifanio Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Edelmiro Gartxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
