Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sixto Indartsu started the match with the kick off. When Guillermo Eguntsenti came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Urutaú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Eguntsenti couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Eguntsenti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Zacarias Lop when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Junior's Bernardo Gelmiro got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Junior's Nemesio Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Kauldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Carmelo Quintyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guillermo Eguntsenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Rico in the 24th minute of play forced Urutaú's goalkeeper Joel Kauldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Guillermo Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Junior's Urbano Estavan got a free kick in the 44th minute. Zacarias Lop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Galsino's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Fernan Galsino made the kick off in the second half. Fernan Galsino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Urutaú's goalkeeper Joel Kauldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Rico. Joel Kauldi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Rico in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Guillermo Eguntsenti made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Lop. Junior's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Guillermo Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Lop having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Nemesio Rico made a precise shot to the right of Joel Kauldi. Urutaú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Junior's Bernardo Gelmiro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Urutaú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Valiente to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Lop having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Galsino came free, but Zacarias Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Gelmiro's late challenge caught a Urutaú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Gelmiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Gelmiro to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Ourente, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Galsino in the 95th minute of play forced Junior's goalkeeper Zacarias Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Urutaú getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Hilario Ellande hit a great ball. Junior's Bernardo Gelmiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 99th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joel Kauldi but with some difficulty. The Urutaú supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Junior's performance. The match ended with a win for Junior.
