With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Poz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Ihintza saved Liga Aves de Bernal from getting behind. 4 minutes into the game, Mariano Ekhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liga Aves de Bernal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sampdoria AC the free kick. A collision led to Liga Aves de Bernal getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mariano Ekhi hit a great ball. Aquiles Ihintza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Liga Aves de Bernal got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Ekhi. Sampdoria AC's Feliberto Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Xabat in the 17th minute of play. When Mariano Ekhi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sampdoria AC booed when Liga Aves de Bernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Ekhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Estevez got free with Feliberto Ramos in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sampdoria AC's Tadeo Poz in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jacinto Lucila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Liga Aves de Bernal's zone, Tadeo Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Ihintza came out of the goal and Tadeo Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sampdoria AC's Gilberto Mergildo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Poz made a kick off. Tadeo Pozs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Aquiles Ihintza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodrigo Manny charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Manny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Sampdoria AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liga Aves de Bernal:s goal. Aquiles Ihintza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Poz in the 59th minute. Aquiles Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Frans in the 60th minute of the match. Aquiles Ihintza stood somewhat misplaced when Tadeo Poz came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 66 minute. Tadeo Poz struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Aquiles Ihintza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sampdoria AC. Feliberto Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Estevez went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Liga Aves de Bernal's Claudio Opilano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Claudio Opilano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Liga Aves de Bernal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudio Opilano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rodrigo Manny shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 91st match minute, Liga Aves de Bernal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Xabat to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Marciano Farias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Ihintza was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Marciano Farias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sampdoria AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sampdoria AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support.
