The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes in the game, Dalmacio Soin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paul Anttila having to interfere. Paul Anttila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Pietro in the 32nd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Celso Pietro made the kick off in the second half. Dalmacio Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Ranelagh's Guillermo Oton got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Soin in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Anttila saved Club Atletico Ranelagh from getting behind. Celso Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Ranelagh's zone, Celso Pietro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Anttila came out of the goal and Celso Pietro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Soin came free, but Paul Anttila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Anzulón FC's Celso Pietro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Anttila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Dalmacio Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
