With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Aguirre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute of the match Siro Hanot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Aguirre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ricardo Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Peli in the 30th minute of the match. If Aurelio Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Peli in the 35th minute of play forced Pedernal's goalkeeper Ricardo Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46thth minute of the game Albino Peli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedernal's Ricardo Aguirre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Berdaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Aguirre was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The attack was good, but when Albino Peli in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ricardo Aguirre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Peli in the 70th minute. Albino Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Urti in the 75th minute of play. Aurelio Berdaitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Aguirre came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelio Berdaitz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute Albino Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Berdaitz scored 1-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Aguirre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolas Urti charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
