After 77 played minutes, Pedernal's Ubaldo Cordaryal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquiles Ihintza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pedernal reached it. Liga Aves de Bernal's Aquiles Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Solustiano in the 78th minute of play. Manuel Estevez struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ricardo Aguirre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liga Aves de Bernal. When Sixto Artaldo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pedernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Artaldo couldn't finish the play. Iker Sayvion was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Liga Aves de Bernal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty!
