Nereo Solustiano's late challenge caught a Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Polentzi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Junior booed when Los amigos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Polentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Junior's Victorio Ortzi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pascal Nouma but with some difficulty. Justo Lluterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Zacarias Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Justo Lluterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los amigos fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Los amigos fc's Justo Lluterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Lop narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sixto Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pascal Nouma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Grabiel's late challenge caught a Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Grabiel helped the player get up and apologised. When Sixto Indartsu came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Indartsu couldn't finish the play. Justo Lluterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Indartsu to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Los amigos fc's Ismael Precioso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Lop made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Nereo Solustiano struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Zacarias Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los amigos fc. Junior's Zacarias Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Lluterio in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Justo Lluterio could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-3 into the left cross. Justo Lluterio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Junior's zone, Ismael Precioso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Lop came out of the goal and Ismael Precioso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Precioso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Zacarias Lop made a huge save. After 76 minutes, Ismael Precioso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los amigos fc and the Junior players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sixto Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Pascal Nouma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Ismael Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los amigos fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Precioso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Junior getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Carmelo Quintyn hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Ismael Precioso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zacarias Lop was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Los amigos fc's Ismael Precioso got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
