Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Arnoldo Lleir started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Dolcet in the 3rd minute of play forced CanCerbero's goalkeeper Braulio Omero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Igor Dolcet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Omero was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Igor Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Braulio Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Omero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Lleir's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When Remigio Camerino fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenix FC's protests and gave Remigio Camerino a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Ortle struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tomás Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CanCerbero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Rumaldo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Lorenz saved Fenix FC from getting behind. Braulio Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Dolcet in the 33rd minute of play. Igor Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Omero having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Rumaldo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fenix FC's Emanuel Urtungo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Tomás Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Rumaldo in the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Dolcet got free with Braulio Omero in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnoldo Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnoldo Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Omero having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Gerardo Osoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Dolcet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Braulio Omero made a huge save. If Igor Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, CanCerbero's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Lleir came free, but Braulio Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Bernabe Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fenix FC's Remigio Camerino suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Narciso Guillerme charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Guillerme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fenix FC booed when CanCerbero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fenix FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
