Carlos Birjaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Aldo Ebardo made a huge save. Jacobo Fix might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Ebardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Fix ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Matias Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Mambru. Rejunte AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Osvaldo Diegotxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Mambru having to interfere. If Matias Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Carlos Birjaio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Neto made a kick off. Justino Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Arsenio Pinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Ebardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 66th minute, Matias Neto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Justino Mambru. The goal made the score 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Rejunte AC's zone, Osvaldo Diegotxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Mambru came out of the goal and Osvaldo Diegotxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carlos Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Israel Aureo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rejunte AC's protests and gave Israel Aureo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laharrague booed when Rejunte AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Aureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Justino Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Neto in the 82nd minute of play. Osvaldo Diegotxe struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Justino Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laharrague. Carlos Birjaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
