The referee ignored Estrella Federal's protests and gave Victor Licerio a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Licerio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ciro Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Saul Pancho made a huge save. With a little luck, Babilonia futbol club's Saul Pancho got control of the ball when Ciro Francesco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Geofredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Pancho having to make a save. Ciro Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Saul Pancho made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Primitivo Gartzen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Estrella Federal's Guaberto Socorro. Guaberto Socorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

In the 58th minute, Ciro Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Estrella Federal's goalkeeper Guaberto Socorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Gartzen. After a rather tough play, Estrella Federal's Higinio Raymon got a free kick in the 76th minute. Saul Pancho came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Estrella Federal's Juan Torres. But to his dismay, Juan Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cecilio Laurgain struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Saul Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella Federal. 94 minutes into the match, Babilonia futbol club's Eugenio Marcones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Socorro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Estrella Federal defense, Primitivo Gartzen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Socorro. The Estrella Federal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Socorro should have stopped the shot.
