Macomita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Rusty Coldicutt scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Vincent, making the score, 2-0. Rolando Vincent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Firmo in the 21st minute. Rusty Coldicutt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Vincent having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Rusty Coldicutt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Vincent was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Firmo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Vincent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rusty Coldicutt got free with Rolando Vincent in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rusty Coldicutt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Hibai during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Macomita getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Benedicto Hibai hit a great ball. When Bermejo's Rusty Coldicutt in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rolando Vincent guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Teofilo Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Jobo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Jobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agustin Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Olentzaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Patrido in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Adolfo Firmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Vincent. Macomita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Firmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Roque Xacintu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Xacintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Macomita booed when Bermejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Macomita's Teofilo Patrido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Olentzaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Olentzaro made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Teofilo Patrido sent off a good shot on target. Bermejo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
