Nicanor Chaime's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Socorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Teo Frechoso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Estrella Federal getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Victor Licerio hit a great ball. Francisco Poz made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ciro Francesco sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Juan Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Laurgain in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Poz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Demonios United's goalkeeper Francisco Poz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cecilio Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
