After a rather tough play, Babilonia futbol club's Bernardino Cordarrell got a free kick in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Babilonia futbol club's Primitivo Gartzen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Vincent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 17 played minutes Babilonia futbol club got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Beti. In the 19th play minute Teofilo Patrido came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Saul Pancho. 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Benedicto Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Natal struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rolando Vincent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babilonia futbol club. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macomita's goalkeeper Rolando Vincent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Babilonia futbol club's Benigno Beti got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Gartzen in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Vincent saved Macomita from getting behind. Primitivo Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Vincent having to interfere. After the first half Babilonia futbol club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Rik made a kick off. Honorio Rufo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Rufo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Macomita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Hibai to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rolando Vincent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Zeledon Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Macomita getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eleuterio Polentzi hit a great ball. Macomita's Rolando Vincent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Macomita from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Gartzens short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Rolando Vincent to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Macomita's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Gartzen came free, but Rolando Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Primitivo Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babilonia futbol club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Gartzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Primitivo Gartzen came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Babilonia futbol club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Gartzen couldn't finish the play. Babilonia futbol club's Eugenio Marcones was substituted for Zeledon Haritzeder. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Primitivo Gartzen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Rolando Vincent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Vincent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Gartzen in the 95th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Gartzen in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Vincent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Babilonia futbol club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
