Spectators: 7028 (Terracing: 5379, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Victoria AFC's Nestor Cilio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Evaristo Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Victoria AFC's Nestor Cilio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Gaizko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mario Rolado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Epifanio Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Gaizko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Lluciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Marlboro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Cilio came free, but Epifanio Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Tavio in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Santana in the 14th minute of play forced Victoria AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria AFC's zone, Evaristo Quilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Jerold came out of the goal and Evaristo Quilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Paul in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Gorka in the 24th minute of play forced Victoria AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Marlboro FC's Arnulfo Paul made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Jerold was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Generoso Tavio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Jerold. Victoria AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Tavio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anselmo Lluciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Zeledon Elazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlboro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The supporters of Marlboro FC booed when Victoria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Cilio in the 41st minute of play forced Marlboro FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Epifanio Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Paul hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Nestor Cilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gaizko having to interfere. Hilario Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Tavio in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Lluciano in the 53rd minute of play forced Marlboro FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Rolado in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Victoria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Paul came free, but Hilario Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience held their breath when Anselmo Lluciano in the 62nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Epifanio Gaizko's left hand side. When Victoria AFC's Nestor Cilio in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marlboro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Epifanio Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Cilio in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Gaizko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71stth minute of the game Nestor Cilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlboro FC's Epifanio Gaizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Arnulfo Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Marlboro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Lluciano came free, but Epifanio Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Mario Rolado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Tavio in the 92nd minute of play forced Victoria AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
