Epifanio Gaizko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Valerio in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Antonio Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Generoso Tavio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marlboro FC's Epifanio Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Gartzen in the 67th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Gartzen in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Gaizko saved Marlboro FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Elazar got free with Saul Pancho in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 played minutes Babilonia futbol club got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Beti. A collision led to Babilonia futbol club getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Benigno Beti hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Benigno Beti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Babilonia futbol club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Primitivo Gartzen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Gaizko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Primitivo Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marlboro FC's Epifanio Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Gartzen in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Babilonia futbol club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
