Zárate FC's Hermengildo Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Saturnin in the 17th minute of play. In the 25th minute Cristo Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zárate FC's zone, Cristo Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Sandalio came out of the goal and Cristo Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Zárate FC booed when Weedcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Oihenarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zárate FC's Hermengildo Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Saturnin in the 43rd minute of play. Victorino Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Weedcelona FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Santiago to strike the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Corderro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
