Victorio Xabel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Quin having to make a save. El Bicho's Jose Quin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Xabel in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, El Bicho's Ciriaco Refugio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Lizbeth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciriaco Refugio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Lizbeth having to make a save. After having played for 22 minutes, Higinio Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Bicho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Refugio in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abelardo Lizbeth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Remir in the 28th minute of play forced Lechuza FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes El Bicho got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Botello. The attack was good, but when Victorio Xabel in the 31st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Victorio Xabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 38th match minute, El Bicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Refugio to maneuver through the defense. When Nicanor Atarrabi fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lechuza FC's protests and gave Nicanor Atarrabi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Bicho booed when Lechuza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes in the game, Higinio Remir fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abelardo Lizbeth having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Xabel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Refugio in the 54th minute of play forced Lechuza FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Refugio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lechuza FC's Abelardo Lizbeth. Abelardo Lizbeth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lechuza FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play.
