Hermengildo Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Damian Shantala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zárate FC's Hermengildo Sandalio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Zárate FC's Feliberto Dimo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Simon Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Aldo Estebano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Zárate FC booed when Paganzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paganzo's zone, Gualterio Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Afonso came out of the goal and Gualterio Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Paganzo's Damian Shantala dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 49th minute Damian Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Damian Shantala made the kick off in the second half. If Damian Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Paganzo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
