After a rather tough play, Adela's Primitivo Quilino got a free kick in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Weedcelona FC's Cristo Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Banegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cristo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carlos Banegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Weedcelona FC's zone, Elias Cordeara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Corderro came out of the goal and Elias Cordeara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Cristo Duarte notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Adela's Carlos Banegas. Carlos Banegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filomeno Eutropio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Corderro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Elias Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Corderro having to interfere. Maximiliano Corderro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Cordeara to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Elias Cordeara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Corderro. Weedcelona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Cordeara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Maximiliano Corderro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Victorino Saturnin scored 2-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Banegas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Adela's Filomeno Eutropio in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 70th minute Elias Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Corderro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Weedcelona FC defense, Elias Cordeara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Corderro. The Weedcelona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Corderro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Adela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Horacio Venceslao hit a great ball. Weedcelona FC's Miguel Goren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Banegas but with some difficulty. The supporters of Adela booed when Weedcelona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
