But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Manex couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Jacrez.F.C.V's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Shantala came free, but Honorio Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Oskarbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Shantala in the 18th minute of the match. David Policarpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Afonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Paganzo's zone, David Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Afonso came out of the goal and David Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute of the match, Anibal Manex got a very nice opportunity to score, but Simon Afonso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Honorio Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Shantala in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jacrez.F.C.V's Albano Steven got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Amador Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paganzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Oskarbi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Paganzo's Damian Shantala got a free kick in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, David Policarpio lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Simon Afonso. If David Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jacrez.F.C.V fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Jacrez.F.C.V's Anibal Manex looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amador Oskarbi struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Honorio Felo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paganzo. After 44 played minutes Jacrez.F.C.V got a freekick which was hit by Albano Steven. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Policarpio was the one to do the kick off. Damian Shantala kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Paganzo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Aldo Cilio hit a great ball. Honorio Felo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Amador Oskarbi sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Anibal Manex shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Manex in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Afonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacrez.F.C.V's Honorio Felo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Jacrez.F.C.V from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Policarpio in the 76th minute of play forced Paganzo's goalkeeper Simon Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Damian Shantala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorio Felo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Paganzo's Simon Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Policarpio in the 89th minute of play. Amador Oskarbi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 92nd playminute. Simon Afonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Policarpio in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jacrez.F.C.V had played much better football throughout.
