If Dante Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Lizbeth having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Ramirez during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Lechuza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. Juan Mitxaut, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee ignored Lechuza FC's protests and gave Emanuel Eguen a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Gualterio Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zárate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Santiago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Lizbeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Espiridion in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Emanuel Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Geofredo during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvestre Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Lizbeth having to interfere. Gualterio Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Abelardo Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Silvestre Espiridion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorio Xabel to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Silvestre Espiridion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Lizbeth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Espiridion in the 54th minute of play forced Lechuza FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Dante Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zárate FC's Hermengildo Sandalio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hermengildo Sandalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Lizbeth having to interfere. During the 68th minute of the match Ceferino Ramirez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ceferino Ramirez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Zárate FC booed when Lechuza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zárate FC's Silvestre Espiridion got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualterio Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Lizbeth having to interfere. Hermengildo Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Emanuel Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lechuza FC booed when Zárate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Estebano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Katia, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Lechuza FC's Vladimiro Hustaz got a free kick in the 89th minute. Abelardo Lizbeth was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Juan Mitxaut. Aldo Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gualterio Santiago came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Zárate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Santiago couldn't finish the play.
